Airfares or accommodation prior to or after the charter however we can arrange travel and accommodation and will be happy to discuss your requirements. If you are making your own arrangements we strongly recommend you book well in advance.

Fitness
We cater for all levels of fitness and the choice is yours. You can participate in every activity on offer or just enjoy the amazing scenery from the comfort of the vessel, it is up to you after all it is your holiday. It is recommended that you be able to manoeuvre into and out of the tender dinghies in order to participate in shore based excursions and a reasonable level of fitness is preferred for the shore based expeditions, Shore based treks vary in the degree of difficulty and as such the captain and crew will advise passengers accordingly. We will be isolated and at times exposed to the harsh beauty of the Kimberley, however the comfort of our vessel and our experienced crew are there to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

Transfers
The MV Diversity II provides local transfers to and from the vessel. Unless otherwise specified you will be collected from your hotel accommodation or designated pickup point in the township of Broome prior to boarding at 3pm at Broome jetty on the day of your departure, and you will disembark approximately 8am on the final day of your trip. For guests that fly out on the final day of their trip, Diversity Charter Company will hold your luggage and arrange to meet you at the Airport.
Luggage
We ask you use soft bags as luggage (ie sports bags) for easy stowage. If your trip includes any local air transfers it is advisable to try to keep your total luggage weight down to a maximum of 10 kilos per person. If you plan ahead and pack all of your essential items in a smaller bag, Diversity Charter Company will happily keep any extra luggage items that you have with you in a secure room at our office.
Clothing
Comfortable casual lightweight clothing is recommended, shorts and cotton tops or shirts, swim wear, sarongs etc are best for daytime use, long pant, long sleeved shirts and comfortable long skirts are advisable for evenings as it can become cool in the evenings. Please bring a broadbrim hat, sunglasses and a pair of comfortably shoes that will survive being immersed in water on occasions e.g. reef or sand shoes. A pair of thongs is handy for those who wish to wear footwear while on board Diversity II. There is no strict on-board dress standard for meal times.
Personal Items
You will require your individual toiletries and any relevant medications. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are supplied in both en-suites cabins and shared bathrooms. Insect repellent and sunscreen are also available on MV Diversity II although you may have a personal favourite that you wish to bring with you. Binoculars, cameras with plenty of film and a small backpack are recommended for shore based expeditions. MV Diversity II has facilities to download and burn photos from most digital camera brands however we do recommend you bring your USB camera cable.
Laundry Facilities
MV Diversity II has both a washing machine and dryer on board available to guests and laundry powder is complimentary.
Cuisine
We have an onboard culinary guru who will keep your taste buds stimulated. All meals are of restaurant quality and where possible, only fresh produce is used on our charters. Special dietary needs can be easily accommodated. Please discuss any special requirements with us so that we can ensure your comfort. Water bottles are taken out in the tenders along with soft drinks (and your favourite beverage if requested) on ice in eskies on every excursion.
Drinks
Diversity Charter Company provide all your nonalcoholic drinks. There will be plenty of soft drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, milo etc along with a selection of both herbal and black teas available while you are onboard. Fresh cold drinking water is provided for your refreshment both onboard and on excursions. Our prices do not include alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to make your own arrangements or we can do that for you. We can provide you with a comprehensive list of wines, beer or spirits for you to choose from and we will arrange for the boat to be stocked accordingly. Payment for any alcohol purchased on your behalf must be received seven (7) days prior to departure. The Diversity Charter Company pride ourselves on our environmental awareness, and use aluminium cans where possible for our drinks, in order to compress and recycle them.
Medical Information
Participation in a Diversity Charter Company experience requires that you are in good health. It is essential that any persons with any medical or related dietary requirements make them known to us well before departure. MV Diversity II is equipped with an extensive first aid kit however be aware that there is no doctor on board and medical problems that require evacuation will be at the guests expense and due to the remote locations we visit response time can be lengthy. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Contact Technology
The MV Diversity II has both a satellite phone and fax system available in the wheelhouse, please be aware that pricing is linked to applicable ship-to-shore rates at $3.00 per minute. These charges are payable prior to disembarking the vessel. It would be advisable to have your family contact you during the evenings as you may not be onboard during the daylight hours.
